Rosetown Nursing Wing

rosetown nursing wingThe Rosetown Nursing Wing, providing care since 1965, is located in the lower level of the Rosetown & District Health Centre. There are 22 long-term care beds in double rooms, a day room and a dining room. Special Care Aids and a Registered Nurse provide 24 hour nursing care to chronic care patients (Level 3 and 4).

The programs and services offered improve the resident's quality of life. There is an activity coordinator who organizes social, recreational and physical programs to keep residents active and full of life. More opportunities are possible with the many volunteers who assist with a variety of programs. Patients can enjoy peace and tranquility in the outdoor sitting area full of greenery shrubs and flowers.

Wheatland Centennial Lodge

The Wheatbelt Centennial Lodge has provided long term care since October 1967. Located south of the Rosetown and District Health Centre, this 28 LTC bed facility features a spacious dining room, lounge, and service areas; a central nurses station was added in 1989. The 28 beds are located in three wings with single bed resident rooms.

Programs and services provided by the many staff and volunteers improve the well being of residents. A Registered Nurse and Special Care Aids provide 24 hour nursing care, and individual/groups volunteer their time to assist with resident care. An activity coordinator provides program opportunities for residents to enhance their social, recreational, and physical being. Residents also have the opportunity to sit with family and friends in the beautifully landscaped outdoor sitting area.
