Rosetown Sports Centre
Located at: 901 Highway 4 North, Rosetown The Rosetown Sports Centre is a multi-purpose facility with heated seating for more than 3,000 spectators who come to enjoy indoor winter sports like hockey and figure skating. It has been host to Regional, Provincial, National and International events. In 2002 the Rosetown Sports Centre saw the addition of four new dressing rooms and a zamboni room. Skating ice is in from early October until late March or early April. In the off-season other events held in the multi-purpose facility include tradeshows, Annual Business Garage Sale, dances and the antique custom car show. Rosetown Sports Centre Holiday Hours 2009/2010 - click here! The Town of Rosetown has instituted an Ice Cancellation Policy for the Rosetown Sports Centre that has gone into effect December 16, 2008. Rosetown Curling RinkLocated in the Rosetown Sports Centre is the Rosetown Curling Rink which has a heated spectator area, licensed lounge and lockers for club members. Renowned for some of the best ice conditions in Saskatchewan, the curling rink has five sheets of artificial ice and is operated by the Rosetown Curling Club. Plans to upgrade the facility are being discussed between the Rosetown Curling Club and the Town of Rosetown. To find out what is on the ice during the curling season please contact the Curling Club Lounge at 882-2777 or Curling Club Lobby at 882-3555. The Curling Rink has played host to many provincial and local bonspiels including the Rosebowl, the largest men's bonspiel in Saskatchewan held under one roof and the Rosebud, one of Saskatchewan's largest ladies bonspiel. During the summer months of 2009, the Rosetown Riding Arena will be host to the Saskatchewan Barrel Racing Association (SBRA) Summer Series - Runnin' in Rosetown! This series will feature six barrel racing events in Rosetown held on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. Be sure to go to the Riding Arena to check out the action!!! The Sports Grounds are full of activity from the end of April through July. There are five irrigated ball diamonds, a concession booth and washroom facilities. The riding arena hosts Blazing Barrels Riding Club, Riding Club Events, team penning and 4-H Horse Club activities. Recently the Sports Grounds have hosted:
