Great Plains College is focused on meeting the needs of learners, employers and communities across its locations in western Saskatchewan. The college’s decentralized campuses are located in Kindersley, Swift Current and Warman, with additional program centres in Biggar, Maple Creek and Rosetown. Throughout the six locations, the college offers a number of post-secondary certificate, diploma and degree programs as well as university courses, Skills and Safety Training, Adult Basic Education and English language training.
The program centre in Rosetown is home to English language training, Skills and Safety Training and the new Carpentry and Production Line Welding certificate - the first dual certificate program of its kind in the province. Students enrolled in the Carpentry and Production Line Welding program will develop introductory skills in carpentry, production line welding, skills and safety training, and a host of other construction skills, all of which will be brought together with a unique tiny home capstone project. Entrance Scholarships up to $5,500 are available to individuals who apply to the program before April 30.
