On February 26, Council approved the Town’s 2018 budget, which is publicly available on our website under Public Notices. With the budget, Council set the uniform Mill Rate at 9.0, and established bylaws related to the tax tools for residential, commercial and agriculture and various levy’s.
With the budget approved, many residents and business owners inquire as to how much municipal taxes they will be required to pay. We’ve created a FAQ on how municipal taxes are calculated, as well as a simplified Residential Municipal Tax Calculator. You can always call or visit the Town Office for questions related to your taxes.
Over the course of 2018, we will provide updates on various projects in the 2018 budget, including maintenance and infrastructure, recreation, planning and development, and more; stay tuned.
