Our Utility program will have a few changes in the New Year! We are switching from a bi-monthly billing system to a monthly billing system as of January 1, 2024.
Currently, most residential utility bills are for two months worth of usage for water, sewer, garbage, compost and recycle. Residents then have two months before that invoice is due. As of January 1st, all utility services in Rosetown will be switched to one month's worth of usage and residents will have one month to pay the invoice. For example: Your meter will be read for consumption at the end of January. The office will calculate your January bill and send you the invoice in the first few days of February. That January Invoice will be due at the end of February.
The 2024 Rates:
Water base rate $42.75 plus usage at $3.30 per cubic meter ($15.00/ 1000 gallons)
Sewer base rate $17.00 plus 15% of water usage amount
Garbage $10.00
Recycle & Compost $7.90
So a Basic Monthly Bill (before water usage) will be $77.65
