Hello Property Owners!
2025 Tax Notices were emailed out yesterday and will be mailed at the post office tomorrow. Do you have questions about paying your Property Taxes? There are at least 5 ways to do that:
1. Come into the Town Office to pay by cash, cheque or debit. (Make sure your debit card's spending limit is higher than your tax amount first!)
2. Send an e-transfer to info@rosetown.ca and note the roll number or property address
in the message bar.
3. Sign up for PreAuthorized Debit payments. You have the option to pay the amount in full when it is due OR make monthly payments of a set amount to have the taxes covered before the due date.
4. You can make pre-payments anytime, all year long and build up a credit in your property tax account with us. Then when the tax amount is announced, the credit covers the payment due.
5. You may be able to include the taxes in your mortgage payment at your financial institution or bank. The bank will calculate what needs to be paid monthly and add it to the mortgage amount being withdrawn. Then the bank pays the Town when your taxes are due.
