Summer 2018 Work Completed
Paving, including curb, gutter and recap, was completed this summer on:
- 9th avenue from Main St. to King St.
- 1st St. E from Highway 7 to 1st Ave.
- 1st St. W from Hwy #7 to 2nd Ave. W.
Thanks for your patience as streets were barricaded while work was in progress.
2019 Plans
The Public Works department has plans to continue with additional paving projects in 2019, in addition to their regular annual maintenance work. The required preliminary engineering work has already been completed and Council has proposed to pass a bylaw to undertake local improvement paving projects in 2019 in the following areas:
- 5th Ave. W from Main St. to Hwy #4 N
- King St. from 9th Ave. to 11th Ave.
- St. Andrew’s Crescent from 9th Ave. to Thrasher St.
