The Rosetown Senior Citizen Centre provides service and support to all seniors in the community, as well as recreation programs that encompass a wide range of needs and interests.
Support programs are offered in the form of bimonthly visits for wellness, annual flu clinics in the fall, senior choral group practices every Tuesday morning, and free hearing exams offered by Belton (non-work related) each month.
The social and recreational programs through local memberships and the Saskatchewan Senior Association Incorporated gather Tuesday evenings for Bingo and Whist, and for a monthly potluck supper. Other activities for members include shuffle boards and pool tables. The Senior Choral group puts on two concerts a year and the senior members offer musical entertainment twice annually.
The building also houses SGI driver testing every Thursday and alternate Tuesdays, as well as the Bourassa and Associates physical therapy office.
Memberships to the Rosetown Senior Citizen Centre are open to all men and women ages 55 and older, at a fee of $25 annually. For more information, contact Marlene Dawson at 306-882-2714.
The Seniors Hall is available to everyone to rent. The hall seats 104 people and is an alcohol-free facility.
