Switch to front-street pick-up, effective April 23, 2018
The Town of Rosetown is switching to front-street waste collection effective April 23, 2018 until further notice. Residents are encouraged to place their garbage bags in receptacles at either the end of their driveway or on their curb prior to 7:00 a.m. on the day of their scheduled garbage pick-up. Please do not put garbage on the street.
The change from back-alley to front-street pick-up is made annually in the spring to prevent damage to the back-alleys.
All refuse placed for pickup must be bagged in standard sized garbage bags with a maximum weight of 20 kg (44 lbs).
Each household is allowed two (2) bags a week, and any additional bags will require tags as part of our Tag-a-Bag Program.
Garbage bags must be placed in garbage containers. This helps alleviate the problem of animals getting into the waste and spreading it throughout Town.
Garbage is picked up in the back-alleys, unless otherwise stated.
