Organics Collection

Overview

Rosetown's organic waste collection was introduced to the community in 2017. Bins were provided to households, and collection takes places every two weeks during spring, summer and fall months, weather-permitting.

Curbside Compost Collection begins May 1, 2018

Effective May 1, we will resume bi-weekly (Tuesday) curb-side pick-up of your dark green compost bin on the day designated for your area.

There are two zones:
Red Zone (north of 6th avenue): pick-up begins May 1
Blue Zone (south of 6th avenue): pick-up begins May 8.

Please ensure you have your cart out by 7:00 am and have it placed wheels to the curb and at least 4’ away from  vehicles or
obstructions.
