Water & Sewer

Water and sewer is issued from the Town of Rosetown. When acquiring a residence in town, a utility form must be filled out at the Town Office, 417 Main Street, and a $200 deposit is required for accessing water service.

This deposit will move with you if you are relocating within town. If you move outside of town the deposit is applied to the balance of your account (on your Final Bill) and the remainder is refunded by cheque.

The Town of Rosetown sources water from the Rosetown Aquifer and is treated using an Electro-Dialysis Reversal (EDR) system.

Billing

The Town Office allows residents to sign up for e-billing for water and sewer. Fill out our online form to sign-up. Payments can be made by e-transfer to info@rosetown.ca or in person at the Town Office by cash, cheque or debit.

Rates

2025 Water and Sewer Rates

Water $43.75/month plus $3.52/cubic meter ($16.00/1000 gallons) for water used

Sewer $18.00/month plus 15% of the water usage charge

Environmental (waste collection) is $10.00 per month

Recycle (Jan-Dec) and Compost (May-Oct) combined is $7.90 per month

So...your Basic Utility Bill before water usage is $79.65 per month
